Delete your Fitcast account and data
Fitcast is published by Lurawood Labs LLC. You can delete your Fitcast account and the personal data associated with it at any time, using either of the methods below.
Method 1 — from inside the app (fastest)
- Open the Fitcast app and sign in.
- Tap the menu icon (top-left) → Account Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm by tapping Yes, delete it.
Your account is removed immediately.
Method 2 — email request
If you can no longer access the app, email fitcast@lurawoodlabs.com from the email address tied to your Fitcast account. Use the subject “Delete my account”. We will confirm and process your request within 30 days.
What is deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is removed permanently:
- Your Fitcast account record (email address, display name, user ID)
- Your saved preferences (clothing rules, temperature ranges, profiles)
- Your saved locations
- Your Firebase authentication record
What is retained
- Support request records you submitted are retained for up to 12 months for support and abuse-prevention purposes, then deleted automatically. These records contain only the message text you submitted, plus the date.
- Anonymized purchase records held by our subscription provider (RevenueCat) are retained as required by accounting and tax regulations. After account deletion these records are no longer linked to any personal information.
- For up to 30 days after deletion, your data may continue to exist in encrypted server backups before being permanently purged.
